Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her first review was in 2009 and gained some respect from the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In the year 2010, she joined in the Channel Awesome Family. The channel remained participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. There are also times when it features adult humor. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films which gained her acclaim on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the group of film critics. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
